Dear Conservatives,

Gays have ALWAYS been in the military.  Straight soldiers have ALWAYS been showering with the gay soldiers.  Gay soldiers may have saved your life in Vietnam, Korea, or the Gulf War.  There are other people in this world who aren’t straight, white, rich, and currently covered by medical insurance.  You will have to get used to this.  Fear-mongering will only serve to show your stupidity.  Hating others won’t make them go away.  It only makes them stronger and more in your face.  If tables were turned and the atheists were trying to preclude you from showing your religious views during your military career, you’d be livid. You would fight for 17 years as well until you were allowed to serve openly.  Instead, you’re surprised when those you’re trying to hold down actually rise up against you.
